"BRINGING STREET HOT DOG CART TO A FANCY STYLE"- ANA NAJERA
The characteristics of this project are based on the materials such as wood, steel galvanized sheet, pewter and soda 24 pack plastic bottle carrier. All of this materials are characteristics of also being used to build or be found in a street hot dog cart.
The Project stands out because all of the furniture is based on elements that could have been handmade by the shukeros, person who cooks a Guatemalan hot dog, such as wooden tables, chairs made out of the plastic soda packages, and other unique items.
The art included in the walls uses phrases that are part of the shukeros daily city slang. A surprising element is the implementation of a bar covered in pewter (a metal material called peltre) that jumps out in its navy blue color.
